The article isn't very informative. How exactly did Pakistan shut down access to youtube all over the world? What is this IP address space hijack that they performed and how come it doesn't happen more frequently?

Why were the ISPs accepting this more specific prefix from one Pakistani ISP that doesn't own youtube's netblock? I guess I don't know enough about IP assignment to understand how this happened.
